Our Nursery
Small Fries Day Nursery is located in the old Careys club – now extensively renovated to the highest standards on every floor, we offer an exciting environment for your child to learn and grow. We constantly evolve the environment to ensure that there are always new things on offer for your child.
- Separate baby, toddler and preschool areas for children, all with resources and equipment to encourage growth, curiosity and development, allowing a child's imagination to run free
- An all-inclusive approach with fresh meals, snacks and cow's milk included. Nappies, breast milk and formula would need to be provided additionally
- All meals are cooked on-site in our brand new kitchen which operates a 4-weekly menu, and caters for all dietary requirements
- Multi-sensory space which can be interactive or calming with lights and motion sensation to build on the senses of vision, touch and sound
- Separate sleep room for children to re-charge their batteries
- Security Access Control system at all internal and external entrance doors, only allowing entry to those authorised to do so
- Great outdoor space for activities with free-flow access to run around and explore, its very own mud kitchen and planting for budding green fingers
- Plenty of accessible short-stay parking for arrival and collection of your child
- Buggy parks, so you can leave your child's pushchair with us during their sessions
- No restrictions on settling in sessions so that you and your little one feels completely happy when they start with us
- Wheelchair access to all areas
- An 'open door' policy that welcomes parents/carers to drop in to see their child anytime of the day

Menu
Our nursery believes that nutrition is an important part of a child's health and development, and we aim to provide and encourage children to eat healthily – this does not mean denying children food they enjoy. We promote a varied and balanced diet with the opportunity for your child to enjoy lots of different foods. Our menus and cooking techniques are directed by the practical and nutritional guidelines of The Caroline Walker Trust – below are examples of the foods we provide.
